Henry Frye

Henry Frye is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Forest and Wildlife Ecology. His primary research interest is understanding how spectroscopy can be used to observe plant chemistry, structure, and diversity across a variety of ecosystems. He also is broadly interested in quantitative ecology and biogeography. Henry is currently involved in a project using image spectroscopy to measure plant phenology and to assess whether those phenology patterns are informed by the evolutionary relatedness of species. He also is involved in the NASA-led BioSCape project located in South Africa. Henry received his MS and PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Connecticut.
