Working with the Menominee and Stockbridge nations, we collected hyperspectral imagery over their lands in Northern Wisconsin in late August, 2021 and July 2022. Working with the Tribes and WTCAC, we conducted fieldwork in the area in 2022 to map and model the effects of emerald ash borer and oak wilt on forest biodiversity on Tribal lands. This work is being co-led by Trowbridge Ph.D. student Angela Waupochick, who is a Menominee member. A considerable effort was expended building collaboration with the Tribes, and we have agreed that our ultimate objecgtive with the Tribes is conduct technology transfer through workshops in which the Tribal GIS specialists develop skills to work with the collected airborne imagery. The 2021 and 2022 imagery covered selected areas identified by the Tribes.
