Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Oklahoma State University; Co-director, Center for Applications of Remote Sensing, Oklahoma State University
Hamed Gholizadeh is an assistant professor and the co-director of Center for Applications of Remote Sensing in the Department of Geography at Oklahoma State University. For the past several years, his research has focused on using spaceborne, airborne, and unoccupied aerial system (UAS)-based remote sensing for monitoring terrestrial ecosystems. His most recent research focuses on using remote sensing for monitoring plant diversity and biological invasions in naturally-assembled grasslands. In his research, he bring together concepts from remote sensing, landscape ecology, and plant ecophysiology.
